Loft Conversions

We could all use more space in our home, but moving house is not always a viable option.

We could all use more space in our home, but moving house is not always a viable option. Loft conversions to your property are one of the most sought after renovation ideas that are a cost-effective alternative to moving.

If you are considering converting the loft of your home into useful living space such as, a bedroom, playroom or office, our experienced team will advise you from conception to completion.

We offer a range of conversions that could suit your home:

Roof light conversions
Provided you have sufficient roof space, roof light conversions are the least disruptive option. The process includes the addition of skylight windows, flooring and a staircase without making any changes to your existing roof.

Dormer conversions
A dormer loft conversion is an extension that protrudes from the slope of the roof. These extensions are suitable for properties with a sloping roof and a great way to increase the available floor space.

Hip-to-gable conversions
Hip-to-gable conversions work by extending the sloping ‘hip’ roof at the side of your property outwards to create a vertical ‘gable’ wall, creating more internal loft space. If your detached or semi-detached property has a free sloping side roof on both sides, you can build on both to create even more loft space.

Mansard conversions
Mansard extensions run along the whole length of your house’s roof and will alter the angle of the roof slope, making it almost vertical. These are typically built at the rear of the house, maximising the available space in the loft area.
